I am but a lowly test subject.
by Ruben M. Lopez
You know what?
Fuck you guys.
You've been making fun of me for years, and I'm sick of it.
My drunk and disorderly conduct? That was a cry for help, man. And what do I get? A big fat nothing.
That sheep said she loved me.
But now, I'm just a lowly test subject? Well here's what I have to say to that:
I humble, poor, and lowly born,
The meanest ovine-liking bloke--
The butt of epauletted scorn--
The punchline of most every joke--
Has dared to raise my wormy eyes
Above the dust to which you'd mould me
In manhood's glorious pride to rise,
I am a Test Subject -- behold me!
(Everybody!) That he is a Test Subject!
For I might have been a guinea pig,
Or perhaps a type of strangler fig,
Or on Temptat'n Island!!
(Everyone!) Or on Temptat'n Island!
But in spite of all seduction
To reduce my overt suck-tion,
I remain a Test Subject!
(Everyone!) He remains a Teeeest Subject!
The end.
