The People's Regime officially endorses John Kerry.

CHAPEL HILL, NC (Feb. 16, 2004) -- After long hours of careful consideration, The People's Regime (http://www.peoplesregime.com), has endorsed Senator John Kerry for Democratic Presidential Nominee.
"It took long hours of discussion to finally come to a decision of who to endorse," said Erik Myers, Mangling Dictator, "but we finally came to a majority settlement to back John Kerry."
Interestingly, it was not even close to being a unanimous decision. A vote, held over several weeks and narrowed down three times as candidates Ambassador Carol Mosely-Braun, Senator Joe Lieberman, and Retired General Wesley Clark dropped out of the race, came out resembling many of the primaries seen around the nation. Senator John Kerry got the nod with 33% of the vote, Governor Howard Dean received 27%, Senator John Edwards 20%, and Reverend Al Sharpton 13%. The winner was only decided as polls closed on Friday, February 13th, while voters who had previously voted for Wesley Clark reassigned their original votes to remaining candidates.
One member suggested re-revolting and begging clemency of "her Britannic Majesty." A cry that seemed to have conservative Republican sentiments amongst a group largely comprimised of liberal Democrats and Independents.
Exit poll information as to exactly why members supported Kerry was not availble at press time, but is expected to be discussed at length at www.peoplesregime.com in the upcoming months leading up to the November election.
The People's Regime is an online community of friends and literati bent on perspicacious and often jocular intellectual expression. Members of the People's Regime geographically span the entire United States and 5 countries.
